880: David Lynn Richards

Incest, Rape, Sexual Battery

David Lynn Richards was the pastor of My Father’s House in Lenoir City, Tennessee. When his adopted daughter was sixteen years old, she told her guidance counselor that her father put her hand down his pants. The next day she had a forensic interview and revealed he had been raping her for two years. While he denied it and said it was motivated by defiance. However, police found his seminal fluid that matched his DNA on her bed frame.

Bud ‘Marty’ May, who lost the race for South Dakota House District 27 to his mother, was arrested a week after the 2022 election and charged with rape. It happened in a bar bathroom. Police were called. When police arrived she had blood, dirt, and abrasions on her. May fled the scene. After he was detained, he claimed it was just a hug.

Child Sexual Abuse Material

David Lloyd Walther was the pastor of Faith Baptist Church, an anti-gay church in Round Rock, Texas. He also was arrested and faces federal charges for distribution, receipt, transportation and possession of child sexual abuse material. I am not going to write out what all he collected.

876: Matthew Foster

Child Molestation, Rape Culture

Matthew Foster was the District Attorney for Washington and Hancock counties in Maine. A Republican, he was defeated in his run for a third term in October 2022 perhaps because he was caught in a life during a candidate forum. He was asked if he had been investigated by Maine’s attorney general’s office and he said no, but he was investigated in 2017 and 2018.

875: Matt Walsh

Enabling, Rape Culture

Matt Walsh is a rightwing political podcaster. He describes himself as a theocratic fascist. He’s not wrong about that. He also has a column at The Daily Wire. He is mostly defined by what he is against rather than what he is for. He is against Black mermaids, drag queens, and people who are trans. He hatemongers with claims of grooming and pedophilia. Meanwhile, he thinks sixteen-year-olds should get pregnant, that adolescence is nonsense, and child marriage is peachy.

874: Ron Johnson

Enabling

Ron Johnson is a U.S. Senator from Wisconsin. Before politics, he was on the Finance Council of the Green Bay Diocese. He worked hard to protect the Diocese from accountability for protecting pedophiles over the years. He argued that employers of pedophiles should not be financially responsible for the actions of their employees. You can hear his testimony out of his own mouth.

873: Joel Koskan

Child Molestation, Child Rape, Coercion

Joel Koskan was a Republican candidate for the South Dakota state senate in 2022. He was arrested in 2022 for grooming and raping a minor child who was a member of his family. It is alleged that he began grooming her as a young child. When she was 14, at bible camp, counselors discussed inappropriate touching and she told them about Koskan. A social worker was sent to do an interview but she did not cooperate. That was when he began to molest her. This continued for five years until she was 19. He was able to maintain control via surveillance cameras and GPS monitoring, limiting her social connections, even able to control her after she went away to school.

872: Alek Skarlatos

Rape Culture

An interview he did in 2018 did not help his campaigns. In it he made several jokes about women including laughing about women being killed during sex, saying he’s thought about it himself. He made a tasteless joke mocking the death of a woman, not a hypothetical, but an actual woman. He also likes to like pictures of underage girls on Instagram.
