Phillip Fisher Jr. was a pastor at the Center of Universal Divinity, a Republican party ward leader, and the faith-based outreach coordinator for Moms for Liberty, the book-banning, anti-gay, hate group so beloved by Republican governors despite being a convicted and registered sex offender.
Abraham was charged with taking indecent liberties with a child and sexual battery. He was initially held without bail, but later bail was set at $5,000 and he was released with the stipulation that he was not to have any contact with the victim and that he was not to be around children except at church services.
Alyson Cranick was an Administrative Assistant at E.O. Smith High School in Mansfield, Connecticut before she was arrested for raping an eleven-year-old boy. She was arrested twice because the alleged crimes were committed in two jurisdictions. She was charged with four counts of first-degree sexual assault, three counts of illegal sexual contact with a minor and two counts of risk of injury to a minor and was released on $700,000 bail.
David Prince was the Oklahoma State Penitentiary when a review of state employees’ computers discovered he had been accessing Child Sexual Abuse Material on his work computer. He was discussing sexual acts with children. A search warrant also found Child Sexual Abuse Material on his personal phone.
On November 7th, 2023, he was arrested for sexual exploitation of a child. He was released on $250,000 bond the same day. The church released a public statement announcing that he had been suspended.
Wade Lee Schvaneveldt was a teacher and basketball coach at Soda Points School District #150. He was charged with 20 felony charges after a student he groomed and raped went to the police. He requested a change of venue and his wife testified how the allegations came out at a school board meeting before his arrest. That request was denied.
Paul Emerson Schofield was a corrections officer at Jefferson City Correctional Center in Missouri. He and his wife pled guilty to “one count of conspiracy to produce child pornograph and one count of producing child pornography” according to the Department of Justice. The child they sexually assaulted was under twelve during the three years the pair abused them to produce child sexual abuse material. Ted Suhl is a health services executive who was convicted of bribing a state official to increase his Medicaid payments and sentenced to seven years in prison. His sentence was commuted by President Trump. He was the owner of Lord’s Ranch, a faith-based residential child-care facility. At least eight former residents are suing him alleging widespread, systemic physical and sexual abuse at the camp, abuse they claim Suhl was aware of and covered up.
Brad Benson was a Republican candidate for city council in Granbury, Texas. On the day before Election Day, the sheriff executed a search warrant, found child sexual exploitation material on his phone. He was charged with several felonies after swerving into another land and striking a woman with his car and driving away. They had been dating. The tire blew out on his car while they were on their way to dinner. A fight broke out and she got out of the car. He was yelling at her to get in the car, turned and cross the center line in order to hit her. He knocked her down with the car, stopped the car, and got out and walked toward her. She said she scrambled to get away, afraid he might do more to harm her.
