1297: Seth Waxman

Solicitation of a Minor

Seth Waxman was the city of Mason, Michigan Planning Commission Vice-President. While not a big-time donor, all of his political contributions at the state and federal level were to Republicans. He was charged with child solicitation, possession of a controlled substance, and legend drug deception (having a prescription drug in possession without a prescription.) It was Viagra. He went to Indiana to meet with a decoy in an internet-sting. He believed he was meeting a 13-year-old girl.

1296: Bill Halle

Abuse of Power or Authority, Grooming, Sexual Assault

William “Bill” Halle is a former Butler, Pennsylvania, school board member. He is also a member of the Patriot Party, an extremist party created by Trump supporters who don’t think the Republican Party is sufficiently supportive of Trump. In May, 2023, he resigned after he was accused of an inappropriate relationship with a teen he employed and counseled at the charity he ran Net Outreach Center. He was initially charged with sexual assault by an employee of a non-profit association, corruption of minors, criminal use of a communication facility, and criminal solicitation. He was ordered not to contact the teen, but violated that court order several times, leading to a six month sentence for violations of the order. In January, 2024, a judge dismissed the charges against him

1295: David Love

Child Molestation, Child Rape

David Love is a retired police officer from Radcliff, Kentucky. He was arrested for raping a child under the age of fourteen. Unfortunately, some in the media called it a relationship which is a gross failing on their part. He appears very bruised in his mug shot but he told the judge that it was due to chemotherapy.

1294: Jess Edwards

Rape Culture

Jess Edwards is a New Hampshire State Representative. He calls himself a pro-women conservative, though it seems pro-women means anti-trans in his lexicon. However, the reason he is on this list is his advocacy for child marriage, something he defines as pro-choice, if choice equals child marriage.

1293: Zack Scrivner

Child Molestation, Child Rape, Incest

Zack Scrivner is a Kevin McCarthy protoge and is a Kern County Supervisor. He is under investigation for allegedly sexually assaulting his daughter. Police were called to his home by his aunt, the District Attorney Cynthia Zimmer. He is said to have suffered a psychotic break and was armed with a gun. He had been stabbed twice by one of his children, defending another who accused Scriver of sexually assault. His lawyer claims the child stabbed him to prevent him killing himself.

1291: Solomon Peña

Attempted Murder, Menacing

Solomon Peña was given a 20th chance when the nineteen-times-convicted candidate was named the Republican nominee for the 14th District in the New Mexico House of Representatives. He was trounced losing by 48 points. Of course, he followed the Trump playbook and claimed the vote was rigged. He attended the January 6 rally, but it not known to have participated in the insurrection.

1290: Brian Ormes

Assault

According to police reports, Ormes was shopping with his son at Walmart. Three youths were playing with a ball in the bike aisle and the ball nearly hit Ormes’ son. This enraged Ormes, who followed the kids and is on video hitting one of them in the back of the head then pushing him up against the shelves and putting his hands around the kid’s neck and strangling him.
