Derek Walker was running in the Republican congressional primary in Pennsylvania when right before the 2008 primary, he was charged with burglary and criminal trespass for breaking into her home to tape her with another man. They claim he said, “This video is going to put an end to your job with the school district,”
He claimed the charges were politically motivated before having the felony charges dismissed and pleading guilty to three misdemeanors, disorderly conduct, invasion of privacy, and harassment.
In 2022, he announced another campaign for the state House. The announcement in The Progress fails to mention his criminal convictions. He received 26.5% of the vote.
