Christopher Cassidy was formerly a St. Tammany Parish Police Corporal in Louisiana. He worked for St. Tammany Parish Sheriffs Department since 2006 until his arrest in February, 2022. He was charged with 78 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and 111 accounts of sexual abuse of animals. In addition to finding these materials when they arrested him, his phone also had pictures of women being sexually assaulted.
He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 15 years in prison and must register as a sex offender for 25 years after his release.
