Angela Leigh Stewart was a teacher at Lighthouse Christian School. She was arrested for inappropriate sexual conduct with an underage special needs child. She began texting the child in November 2022 and met the student outside school. When questioned by her supervisor, she said she was supporting the student who she believed was being abused.
However, inappropriate sexual tests between her and the student continued from November until May when the police got involved. They also met outside school and when she was arrested, the child’s parents and a neighbor tracked them to a park, called the police who found her with the student.
She has a pretrial hearing on Sept. 7th.
