Clay Travis is a conservative radio talk show personality with a three-hour weekday show. He began his career as a sports broadcaster. He wrote three books about sports and one about politics. He has considered running as an independent for US Senate.
He claims to be a moderate, a former Democrat who voted for Trump. He’s become an outspoken mask-opponent and COVID minimizer. He voted for Trump in 2020. His web site he founded Outkick is full of white grievance politics and he sold it to FOX.
He’s on the list for his commentary about age of consent and adults objectifying children. His argument is there is no age of consent for looking. You can find his comments in this book: Google Books: Man, the Book. He would probably defend these comments as jokes, but molesting children isn’t funny.

For someone who claims to be pro-choice, why did he claim the 10-year-old girl who was raped in Ohio was fake? He seems to be a good example of how propinquity shapes political opinion. Hanging with right-wing extremists is making him a right-wing extremist, one who would deny this child’s pain. He definitely supports boycotting Bud Light because he is obsessively transphobic. He is a Hunter Biden truther and claims the 2020 election was rigged by the FBI. Propinquity.
