Craig Spence was a Republican lobbyist with close ties to the Reagan White House including a friendship with V.P. Bush’s National Security Advisor David Gregg who helped Spence give secret, late-night tours of the White House and arranged for people to meet with Bush.
Spence was implicated in a gay and child sex-trafficking ring. He was accused of using evidence to extort people who patronized the ring. He claimed he did far worse than what was known before he killed himself.
