He was arrested December 23, 2025, charged with physically and sexually abusing at least one child. He is charged with eleven felony counts: one count of felony child abuse, one count of aggravated child abuse, and nine counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor.
He was recently arrested to be extradited to Florida where he has been accused of molesting a child under the age of twelve. According to the Polk County (Floridan) Sheriff, “In December 2023, Shaw visited Lakeland, FL, and when he returned back to Wyoming the Polk County victim disclosed to her mother that Shaw had inappropriately touched her underneath and over the top of her clothing while he was there. The mother called and spoke to Shaw, who admitted to touching the child, who is younger than 12 years old.”
Angie Woodward operated Trinity Teen Solutions, a Christian boarding camp for unruly children. Twenty-five former students filed a class-action lawsuit alleging they were not provided the residential counseling and treatment but instead were forced to work ten to twelve hours a day doing farm labor on the board camp ranch, for other ranches, at churches, and even at a coffee shop.
David Bernard was one of Greybull, Wyoming’s five councilors. He was elected in 2020, began his term in 2021 and one year later was arrested for selling child sexual abuse material. In December 2020, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children was told a user uploaded 85 files of child sex abuse material. They identified Bernard and gave the info to the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation. When questioned Bernard admitted he was getting files and selling them for $100, using bitcoin.
While awaiting trial for those twenty charges thanks to a search of his laptop he got another 51 charges against him, a total of 71 felony charges.
Donald Crerar is an anti-mask protester and election denier. He was arrested for child sexual abuse, accused of putting his penis on a child’s arm. His lawyer successfully argued that since his penis was flaccid, it was not actually sexual assault.
Anthony Bouchard is a Wyoming State Senator. He also ran in the 2022 primary for U. S. House and got 2.6% of the vote. This may be because he was forced to admit that he got a fourteen-year-old child pregnant when he was a young man. He was eighteen. He married her. They divorced three years later. She killed herself when she was twenty.
Ed Murray was the Wyoming Secretary of State and a likely contender for the next governor when two women accused him of sexual misconduct.
