Gen. Guy Roberts was a high-ranked Pentagon official. He was serving as assistant Defense secretary for Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Defense Programs when he resigned during an investigation of allegations of sexual harassment. Three women came forward alleging he forced hugs and kisses on them and made inappropriate jokes.
The Office of the Inspector General investigated the claims, interviewing eighteen witnesses and reviewing over 4000 official e-mails and other documents. They substantiated the allegations that Roberts engaged in a pattern of misconduct and sexual harassment of women on his staff. A screenshot from the IG’s report is below.
