Steve McLaughlin is currently the elected County Executive of Rensselaer County, New York. When he was in the New York State Assembly he was censured for sexual harassment after asking an Assembly employee for nude photos. He was also barred from having interns in the future.
He was later indicted for fraud and embezzling from his campaign. Two moths ago, the judge denied his motion to dismiss, so a trial is in his future unless he reaches a plea deal.
