Trent Ivey was a Southern Baptist youth pastor at Vestal Baptist Church in South Knox, Tennessee. He was arrested in 2021 for sexual battery with a 16 and 18-year-old girl. He is out on bail and has a 2024 court date with deferred disposition which means he pled no contest, must meet certain obligations, and then there will be criminal conviction on his record.
Vestal Baptist Church pastor, Arnold Greene, had fired him six months earlier for insubordination and had no idea that Ivey was abusing his position to prey on young girls.
