Visible Music College is so completely captured by rape culture, it punishes women who are raped for being raped. According to Mara Louk, she reported to a school administrator that she had been raped in her off-campus apartment. She expect help filing a police report and a steps to prevent further contact with the man she claims raped her. The school first said they could do nothing since it was off-campus. They would not even remove the student from classes she was taking.
However, they did investigate her, told her she violated the pre-marital sex ban by having sex with an ex-boyfriend. She denied that happened, but they threatened to expel her if she did not confess. They also ordered her to take her classes online.
