Tom McCullagh was a Republican primary candidate for a state House seat. However, he withdrew when the details of an investigation into his alleged grooming of an underage girl became public. A person reported that McCullagh gave the girl a bottle of vodka. When the police tried to extract the child’s cellphone data, they could not as the data was corrupted. As such, the thought the only probably charge was contributing to the delinquency of a minor. McCullagh was not questioned because the family did not want to pursue the matter.
