He is the person who doctored a video of Nancy Pelosi, slowing down her words to make her seem drunk. He was on probation at the time after pleading guilty to domestic violence in California. He did not complete the terms of his probation, so there is an outstanding warrant in California.
He is not a famous person though he ran a network of political disinformation sites, inject disinformation into the political environment repeatedly. The debate seemed less about the rush by the alt-right to amplify disinformation that whether it was appropriate to out someone creating it. Good grief.
