
Michael Tobin was a police officer in Clarksville, Iowa. He was accused of showing sexually explicit images and videos from a criminal case to a minor from September 2021 to February 2022. The minor reported it to police in March 2022. The city fired him and in September 2022 he was arrested and charged with 3 felonies and 8 misdemeanors. In October 2023, he was convicted on all charges.
In addition to his criminal charges, he was also sued by two sisters who allege he h̶a̶d̶ ̶s̶e̶x̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ raped them during their participation in a ride-along program and on school lunch breaks. The sisters each did not know he was raping the other for a long time.
