Edward Bullock was the Sheriff of Warren County, New Jersey from 1982 to 1991. He was caught in a sex sting, pled guilty to official misconduct, and served nine months in jail. He raped young boys while they were in county custody, including in transit to the jail, at the county detention center, and the shelter for children whose parents may have been negligent or absent.
A survivor, W.M, filed suit against Bullock’s estate as well as against Warren County for their negligence. He was eleven when he was raped by Bullock. He tried to report what happened and the officer he told punched him in the stomach.
He settled while the jury was deliberating which frustrated several of the many other victims of Sheriff Bullock.
