1262: Lynn Lindaman

Lynn Lindaman

Lynn Lindaman was a pediatric orthopedic surgeon. In 1976, he was convicted of lascivious acts with a person under 16. She was fourteen and he was given a deferred sentence which means that after going through his probation, he was not considered guilty any more. This allowed him to get his medical license and even specialize in pediatric surgery. The victim of that crime has sued him in civil court for the pain and anxiety that were caused by his actions. She has also advocated since 2020 for revocation of his medical license. I added an article about that at the end of this entry.

In 2023, he was accused of again sexually assaulting a child, this one under the age of ten. The child was eight. He was found guilty by a jury in February, 2024. The jury was not told about his prior conviction, though there will be a second trial to see if he would get enhanced penalties for a repeat offense.

UPDATE: He has been sentenced to fifty years and because this is a second offense, he is required to serve 42.5 years before he is eligible for parole. As he is 73, he is unlikely to ever molest another child.

Beks has found some of his social media posts that are really ironic considering he’s a child molester.
