Dan Johnson was a Kentucky state representative when he was accused of sexual assault by a minor. The victim, who was 17 at the time, said she was staying in the living area of a church where Johnson was pastor. Johnson had been drinking, approached, kissed, and groped her under her clothes.
He denied the allegations, then he shot himself.
Two police investigations proved to be utterly worthless with little effort put into them by police. In the first investigation, the police did not interview the suspect, his family, or church members. The lack of police effort is a scandal in itself.
