1153: Jim Pierson – Republican Sexual Predators

James Hugh Pierson was on the City Council of Flower Mound, TX. He served two years before resigning shortly before his arrest for continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14, a first-degree felony, and indecency with a child/sexual contact, a second-degree felony. The child is a family member.

The child told investigators that he began abusing her when she was eight and finally stopped when she was eleven after she said she would tell someone.

Pierson was convicted at trial and sentenced to life in prison for continuous sexual abuse of a child plus seventy years for four counts of child indecency.
