Lawrence Fourkiller was a teacher in Stillwell Elementary in Oklahoma. Stillwell is in the territory of the Cherokee nation, thus part of Indian Country, which means he can only be prosecuted by federal or tribal law enforcement, not local or county courts.
He was charged with six counts of sexual abuse of a minor under age twelve. At least six children are believed to have been abused, though it appears there are several more. One man recounts being sexually abused by Fourkiller twenty years ago when he was seven and Fourkiller was fifteen.

The asst. superintendent (Brunk) who was the 1st person that this was reported too is now the superintendent and still protecting individuals like Brian Johnson who has had relationships with students for the past 15 years. Protects teachers who break federal and state laws and allows nepotism and corruption as long as it benefits him
