Sean Parnell’s run for U.S. Senate from Pennsylvania was endorsed by Donald Trump. He was accused of multiple incidents of domestic violence by his wife in their divorce and custody legal battle. She alleged that he not only abused her but the children as well, describing, under oath, a time he left a handprint mark on one child’s back. According to her, he abused her in front of the children.
He denied the allegations, claiming she abused him but offered no specifics.
The judge deemed her more credible and awarded sole custody of the children to her. He withdrew from the race.
