Richard “Rick” Renno was the Treasurer of Benton County, Missouri. In June, 2025, he was charged with enticement or attempted enticement of a child and sexual misconduct involving a child under 15. The investigation began in August, 2024, when accusations were made that an adult man used Grindr to engage in conversations of a fourteen-year-old child.
Kevin Christensen was a justice court judge in four different Utah municipalities. In 2013, he was censured for quadruple-dipping, so to speak, collecting more than what is allowed by law. He was ordered to repay his overpayment. He was arrested in March 2025 for six sex crimes involving children: two counts of attempted exploitation of a minor, two counts of enticing a minor and two counts of dealing materials harmful to a minor. He is being held without bail.
Joshua Dice was a teacher at Calvary Christian Academy as well as an employee of Calvary Baptist Church in Middleburg, Florida. He was arrested in June 2025, charged with using a computer to solicit a child for unlawful sexual contact, unlawful use of a two-way communication device and traveling to meet a minor for sex (rape.)
Erik Sickinger was a councilman in the city of Irmo, South Carolina. He stepped up to serve as mayor pro tem in 2023. In March, 2025, he was accused of grooming and assaulting a 15-year-old boy. Specifically, he was charged with three counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, second degree, and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and a charge of luring, enticing, or attempting to lure or entice children. Justin Eichorn was a Minnesota State Senator from 2017 until he resigned in 2025 after his arrest for soliciting a minor for sex.
Harrison “Ted” Clark was elected Chair of the The Clay County Soil and Water Conservation District. He is also the son and campaign manager for Beth Clark, a member of the Clay County School Board in Florida. In January, he was arrested in Nassau County for traveling there to meet someone he believed was a fourteen-year-old boy to have sex (rape.) “Hope I’m not too old for ya,” he wrote in one of the several texts he exchanged with the putative 14-year-old.
Andrew Taake is an insurrectionist. He was charged with pepper spraying and whipping Capitol Police officers. He was sentenced to six years in prison in 2023. Trump pardoned him in January 2025.
Taylor Lewis was the assistant police chief in Springfield, Louisiana. The Department of Children and Family Services alerted the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Department. They began an investigation and found that Lewis maintained an “inappropriate relationship” with a child through various social media platforms.
Joel Bruce Searby has been active in Florida Republican politics for many years. He worked for a consulting firm called Data Targeting where he worked for many Republican campaigns. Most recently, he was a board member of Education First for Newberry, a group trying to turn Newberry’s public schools into charter schools.
He was arrested in June, 2024, charged with charges of lewd or lascivious conduct, use of a computer to solicit a minor, enticing a minor to travel, and unlawful use of a two-way communication device. He was attempting to lure a fifteen-year-old boy in order to molest him.
Ryan Don Ivy was a youth minister at Bluff Dale Baptist Church and an employee at Bluff Dale Independent School District was accused of online solicitation involving text messages he sent to a 13-year-old middle school student. Incredibly, despite being shown the text messages he sent including text acknowledging he could go to jail for what he was doing, eleven of twelve juries wanted to acquit him. One juror, thankfully, held firm and the trial ended in a mistrial.
