In March, 2023, he was arrested and confessed to a sexual relationship with one of his students and charged with one count of a school employee sex act and one count of a school employee sexual contact with a student under 19. She is sixteen. He’s out on bail and ordered to have no contact with anyone under 18.

1044: Austin Haynes

Abuse of Power or Authority, Sexual Harassment

Austin Haynes was West Virginia state delegate from 2020 to 2022. He was defeated by a Democrat in 2022. A woman who worked with him to get a bill passed filed suit in 2023 alleging sexual harassment though her intent to sue was announced by her lawyer in 2022. In 2020, Haynes sent her messages in Facebook promising to introduce the bill if elected. He didn’t. What he did do, according to her lawsuit, is send sexual and personal messages that she asked him to stop sending, but he didn’t. She alleges he offered a sexual quid pro quo for the legislation.

1043: Jeffery York

Jeffery York was a pastor at New Beginnings Community Church of the Nazarene, in Central California . It is a conservative church. Focus on the Family, a prominent anti-gay organization, was founded by James Dobson, a member of the Church of the Nazarene, though at a different church. In March, 2023, he was arrested for child molestation and sexual abuse. It is alleged he abused a child between 2005 and 2008.

Nick Johnson was the track coach at Huntington University, a conservative evangelical school in Huntington, Indiana. The track team excelled and won national championships and other recognition. However, there was an extensive record of sexual abuse and the use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs)

1041: Fulton Brock

Fulton Brock was a Maricopa County Supervisor. He is accused of using his influence with former Sherriff Joe Arpaio to protect his wife and daughter who were accused of sexually abusing a young boy for three years. Their daughter is alleged to have started abusing the boy when he was thirteen. He says they began grooming him when he was eleven.

1040: Vance Peronto

Vance Peronto was an Alaska State Trooper until he was arrested for an attempt to sexually abuse a child. It started April 8th, 2018 when he pulled over a sixteen-year-old girl for driving without her headlights on. She didn’t get a ticket, but Peronto tracked her down on social media and began grooming her.

1035: William Morrissey

William Morrissey was a school resource officer, a police officer in school, at Auburn High School, in Auburn, NY. In early 2022, he was arrested for sexual abuse and official misconduct. He was alleged to have groomed and sexually abused a 14-year-old girl who attended the school where he worked. He was also alleged to have asked the girl to lie.

1031: David Duffett

In February, 2023, he was arrested for felony sexual abuse of a minor by a person in authority. His father is the pastor of the church and is alleged to have protected him for years. The abuse is alleged to have happened fifteen years ago. The victim attended Bible Baptist Church. He began giving her gifts when she was fifteen. He began engaging in sex acts when she turned sixteen. Her family found out and put a stop to it. Duffett’s father is the pastor of the church and is alleged to have protected him.

1026: Emanuel Rivera

Emanuel Rivera was a police officer in Vernon, NJ. He is a member of the New Jersey Conservative Party. That is where you go when you think the Republicans are too liberal. While working as a police officer and in uniform he pursued sexual relationships with women, abusing his power as a police officer to coerce women.

1023: Jacob Woods

Jacob Woods was a youth pastor at Rutherford County Baptist Church in Smyrna, Tennessee. He was arrested in May 2022 and indicted on five counts of statutory rape by an authority figure. According to the victim’s family, he began grooming her when she was fifteen and began raping her when she was sixteen while on a church camp trip in Indiana. He continued for two years until the family learned of it.
