Through BACA he was presented as someone trustworthy. BACA severed any relationship after the arrest. They released a statement that said:

We regret to hear of the reported and unacceptable actions of this individual, and they represent a violation of the core of our organization’s Mission, which is to empower children to not be afraid of the world in which they live.”

John Hammock served as Tallassee, Alabama’s mayor for six years. He resigned in June after losing a Republican primary race for a position on the Public Service Commission. This was after he was arrested in January 2022 for domestic violence, attempting to strangle his wife who was granted a protection order. He was alleged to have assaulted her with his hands and feet (wearing boots) and attempting to strangle her while threatening to kill her.

Derik Ford was the Washougal mayoral candidate endorsed by the Clark County Republican Women. He withdrew from the race after he was arrested by Camas police for domestic violence. They were called in as the Washougal Police were concerned about the conflict of interest as he was running for mayor.

Sexual Battery

He was just one of the many candidates who were endorsed by Trump with allegations of sexual misconduct. Eight women, including a Republican state senator named Julie Siana came forward alleging they had been groped by Herbster. Later another woman came forward alleging he had also groped her at the same event where Siana claimed he had groped her. He sued Siana, claiming defamation, so she countersued for sexual battery. After the election they both dropped their suits.

Charles Jandris was a former city council member and former member of the Planning Board in Mahwah, NJ and the finance director of a day care center. He was arrested for possession of child sexual abuse material.

He could have been sentenced to ten years in prison but was sentenced in 2021 to five years probation.

744: David Bernard

David Bernard was one of Greybull, Wyoming’s five councilors. He was elected in 2020, began his term in 2021 and one year later was arrested for selling child sexual abuse material. In December 2020, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children was told a user uploaded 85 files of child sex abuse material. They identified Bernard and gave the info to the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation. When questioned Bernard admitted he was getting files and selling them for $100, using bitcoin.

While awaiting trial for those twenty charges thanks to a search of his laptop he got another 51 charges against him, a total of 71 felony charges.

Ronnie Hale was an alderman in Southaven, Mississippi. He resigned after he was indicted for transporting child sexual abuse material across state lines, from Tennessee to Mississippi. The CSAM was found when he was arrested and searched for offering a woman money for sex.

Jeffrey Armstrong is a former mayor of Rockford, Ohio. He’s also served on the village council and the school board. He was a member of the County Republican Central Committee, as well. On Facebook, he engaged in Direct Message conversations with a person he believed was, like him, interested in sexual relations with underage girls, but the person he thought was a fellow pedophile was actually and FBI agent. The ruse continued for 10 days with exchange of child sexual abuse material. Armstrong declared he knew two girls, ages 5 and 6, whom he was planning to engage in sexual activity. He also bragged about previous sexual activity with minors.

Gregory Nies was on the town council and three-time mayoral candidate. He was well-liked and active in the community. However, he was also preying on children. In 2009, a girl went to the police and told them she had been sent inappropriate messages from someone posing as an 18-year-old woman. The police investigated, found the IP traced back to Nies. A search warrant revealed he had been communicating with several minor girls, posing as a young girl himself to persuade them to send him nude photos. His computer also had child sexual abuse material. They also discovered he was sexually abusing a young girl.
