Jeffrey Short was an Asher, Oklahoma, city councilman and a former ICE agent. He was indicted for the rape of two minor children. He was arrested the day after the parents reported the assaults to the police. In 2008, the Department of Homeland Security substantiated that a different child, a 14-year-old claimed he preyed on her. Allegedly, he showed sexual exploitation to minors in his ICE office. He was never charged with those incidents.
