Carey Lee Cramer was a Republican Party campaign consultan. He made the anti-Gore ad that copied the 1964 Goldwater “Daisy” ad accusing Gore of giving nuclear secrets to China. The young girl in the ad was his stepdaughter and while filming the ad, he molested two young girls.
A jury deliberated almost two days before convicting Carey Lee Cramer, 44, of aggravated sexual assault of a child, two counts of indecency with a child by contact, and one count of indecency with a child by exposure. He was cleared of nine other charges. He appealed and lost.
