Elon Musk is a rightwing billionaire who owns SpaceX, Tesla, and Twitter. He styles himself as a free speech advocate but suppresses left/liberal voices while amplifying fascists and white supremacists on Twitter, the social media site he owns.
He has been accused of sexual misconduct and his companies have been accused of fostering and environment with rampant sexual harassment by several women. In 2018, SpaceX paid $250,000 to settle a sexual misconduct claim. A flight attendant complained that he exposed himself, touched her without consent, and offered to buy a horse for a sexual act. She felt that her refusal led to a retaliatory decrease in her assignments and sued. Musk denies the incident happened in spite of the settlement.
He had two children with one of his employees, though they claim it was the result of IVF.
Seven women have sued alleging rampant sexual harassment at Tesla, an atmosphere fostered by Musk’s fratboy public persona. SpaceX has also been accused of having a rampant problem with sexual harassment.
