C.J Covati was an attorney in Roanoke, Virginia and sometimes served as a substitute judge. He was also managing a strip club and it was there that he assaulted a dancer. He pleaded guilty to assault and battery.
When the dancer complained to management, she was fired. She then went to the police the same day.
He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 60 days suspended.
