434: Phillip Todd Wilson

Phillip Todd Wilson was a high school principal who came to national news attention for banning school library books with gay content. In all four books were banned because he said they were pornographic.

He was arrested after someone alerted police that he sent pictures of child sex abuse pornography. “

According to court documents, a school resource officer at George Rogers Clark High School notified the state police Aug. 27 after an individual said they received about 15 “child pornography” images from Wilson through text messages and Facebook Messenger.” He was questioned and admitted to sending those messages with the child sex abuse material to two people. He was arrested and charged with possessing and distributing matter containing a sexual performance by a minor, what Interpol calls child sex abuse material.

Although he admitted to possessing and transmitting the child sexual abuse material, but he was acquitted.
