Meghan Wiggins and her husband Gary operated Joshua Home, an anti-gay conversion camp, in Alabama, Missouri, and Texas, moving on when closed by authorities for abusing and trafficking the children.
In Alabama, eight boys escaped the camp and told authorities they were punished with forced labor, solitary confinement, and withholding food. One claimed Gary Wiggins beat him. No charges were filed.
In Texas, where they finally were indicted, they made the children work for their landscaping business and a moving company. Texas authorities were alerted by Missouri police.
