John Fickas was a Republican campaign consultant in California. He was also a volunteer high school track and field coach. He also raped students.
He raped a 15-year-old and a 22-year-old former student while they were unconscious. His third victim was 42. He raped a 15-year-old assigned to volunteer with him on campaign duties twice. He also arranged for a 15-year-old to have sex with a sex worker.
He pleaded no contest but claimed he was innocent. He was sentenced to 28 years.
