Steven Seagal is a martial arts instructor who became an actor in action films that featured martial arts in fight choreography. He had some early success in feature films but soon began starring in direct-to-video movies. He has been an outspoken supporter of the Republican Party and, in particular, Donald Trump He also wrote a book that just may be the origin of the persistent myth of Muslim terrorists posing as Mexican immigrants. Seagal is also a vocal supporter of Putin and was granted Russian citizenship, recently he was been photographed palling around with Russians in Ukraine.
Steven Seagal has been accused of sexual assault by several women, even one girl who was only seventeen at the time. Regina Simons accused him of raping her in 1993 when she was eighteen and also claims she reported it to the police at the time. Jenny McCarthy accused him of sexually harassing her. Portia di Rossi accused him of unzipping his pants during an audition. Faviola Dadids claims he groped her when she was seventeen. Julianna Margulies described an audition that frightened her and she feels she escaped assault by fleeing.
He was not prosecuted for rape because the statute of limitations had run out.
