1461: Mike Pruitt – Republican Sexual Predators

Michael D. Pruitt is the Johnson County, Indiana, coroner. A 17-year-old girl who cared for Pruitt’s pigs and showed them at fairs through 4-H has gotten a protective order against him for stalking, sending unwanted texts, and providing her with alcohol and gummies. The girl’s mother sought the order when Pruitt would not stop sending texts.

Five deputy coroners have resigned in reaction to the restraining order and the state investigation of Pruitt’s alleged stalking the minor. There are no allegations that he had any sexual contact with her, just that his seeking to meet her and be with her was inappropriate as were his constant, repeated, unwanted texts. Though he did film her and her friend while they were drunk. He provided the alcohol. He also said he liked watching boys watch her. That’s creepy.
