Dennis Houchin is a retired U. S. Air Force Senior Master Sergeant. Indian River County Sheriff’s Office received a tip that he had child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on his phone.
IRCSO deputies carried out a search, finding CSAM and arresting Houchin. In addition to images of children frmo 8 to 17, they discovered he was using software to alter images of two underage relatives to create CSAM. He was charged with eleven counts of possession of CSAM.
His wife has a protective order, saying what he had allegedly done is horrific. Indian River County Sheriff Flowers asks if other children have stayed at his house. He voiced concern over how photo apps and AI can be used to manipulate pictures to create CSAM.
