Ryan Fournier was the co-founder of Students for Trump and, in addition, now leads Radical Alert an anti-free speech organization.
Fournier was arrested in November for allegedly hitting his girlfriend in the head with his pistol. He was charged with domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon. His girlfriend had a minor injury.
The police were called to his home. An officer found a woman crying with a 1-inch gash in her forehead that was bleeding. He called an ambulance and arrested Fournier after she told the officer that he had grabbed her by the arm and hit her in the head.
The charges were dismissed at his hearing in December. This often happens in domestic violence cases as frequently victims refuse to testify. However, the records do not indicate what the reason was for the dismissal.
