1210: Jeffrey Thomas Singleton – Republican Sexual Predators

Jeffrey Thomas Singleton has a long history of work in law enforcement and public service jobs. Most recently, he was Port Richey, Florida’s sole code enforcement officer. A code enforcement officer enforces building codes. It’s a broader term that includes, building inspectors, fire inspectors, health and safety inspectors, and more.

In November, 2023, Singleton was arrested after a tip from Google for possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material and bestiality.

Police found 33 files of Child Sexual Abuse Material and 21 files with bestiality including one of a man with a horse. When questioned, he confirmed that the email account was his but that he shut it down after getting some “weird things.” That does not explain the videos he took of himself with his dogs. He also is alleged to have used a hidden camera to record his girlfriend’s daughter changing and uploading that to be disseminated to predators.

According to Suncoast News, Singleton also worked in code enforcement in New York, as well as serving as a constable, a corrections officer, and a campus police officer in Buffalo. He’s been a volunteer firefighter and EMT as well.

The response from the City of Port Richey is bizarre. They stress that he did it on his own time. They are concerned about how his work will get done.

He is currently in custody of Pasco County Corrections.
