Matthew Thomas Wyatt was a frequent guest preacher at Southside Baptist Church in Yadkinville, North Carolina. The pastor confirmed that Wyatt preached there several times but wanted it understood he was not officially a pastor there. He was charged with felony sex crimes involving a child less than fifteen years old.
Wyatt was accused of three counts of indecent liberties with a child, statutory sex offense with a child, crime against nature, second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, and displaying material harmful to a minor.
