Tony Bunton was the pastor at Fairview Baptist Church in Statesville, NC. In August, 2021, he was arrested and charged with possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material. He was out on bail when an additional thirty charges led to his second arrest in October, 2021.
In a plea agreement in 2023, he pleaded guilty to just three charges and was sentenced to four years in prison.
