Daniel W. Merrick is a former Messianic Christian pastor, a Christian musician, and author of several books. Most are Messianic Christianity apologia while others are his family genealogy. He was arrested and charged with over 880 felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse material.
Synchronoss (Verizon Cloud) noted that some files of CSAM were uploaded from a cell phone in their network. They informed law enforcement who executed a warrant and found a lot of it. Merrick excused himself, claiming it was just fantasy and that it was really totally his wife’s fault because she refused to be intimate with him.
