Cade Cothren was Chief of Staff for former NC Speaker Glen Casada. He was forced to resign after texts emerged of him exchanging racist and sexist tests with Casada. He also sent messages soliciting sex from interns and lobbyists.
In addition to sexual harassment and racism, he also snorted cocaine in his office, not to mention bugging committee rooms, and of course, there are the federal charges. Conspiracy, theft, bribery, kickbacks, money laundering, and wire fraud. That trial is set for October 2023
