1283: Jon Stone

He lost his job on the Claremont police force after he was investigated for an inappropriate relastionship with a sixteen-year-old girl that started when she was fifteen. He had been seeing the girl for months, claiming she was a drug informant, though he never provided any information from her. While there is no evidence of him molesting her, the girl said they were planning to have sex when she turned seventeen. He was ordered not to contact her, but ignored the order. He was suspended.

1281: Marvin Mosley

Child Indecency, Child Molestation, Sexual Assault, Sexual Exploitation of a Child

Marvin Leroy Mosley was the pastor of the Lehighton God’s Missionary Church, a conservative evangelical denomination. In 2003, he became pastor of God’s Missionary Church in Penns Creek. There was no parsonage, so a local family invited Mosley and his wife to live with them.

He repaid their generosity by sexually assaulting their grandaughter from the time she was seven until she was about fifteen. He then moved on to her younger sister and after her, her youngest sister. He assaulted the three sisters over the course of fifteen years.

1279: Les Stapleton

Sexual Harassment

Les Stapleton was the Mayor of Prestonburg and planned to run for State Senate in the Republican primary on May 21, 2024, but he withdrew from the race in January. However, he was sued for sexual harassment and assault by a city employee. A few hours after the lawsuit was filed Stapleton resigned as Mayor. He claims the lawsuit had nothing to do with it, rather he claimed he resigned due to the injuries he suffered from a fall from a roof.

1278: Dennis Coggins

Abuse of Power or Authority, Sexual Harassment

Dennis Coggins is the Mayor of Hoxie, Arkansas. He is embroiled in several lawsuits and the council is seeking his recall for ignoring FOIA requests and other malfeasance.

He also was sued for sexual harassment under the Fair Housing Act by a woman who rents from him.

1277: Dan Rodimer

Murder

Dan Rodimer was a Trump-endorsed Congressional candidate in 2020. In 2021, he ran in a special election Republican primary in Texas and got 3% of the vote. He also lost his 2018 race for the Nevada State Senate. He is a former professional wrestler with a history of at least three violent incidents, all at restaurants or clubs. He pled guilty to a misdemeanour on one of those cases and took anger management classes. They seem not to have worked as he got into another altercation on Oct 29, 2023. This time the person he is alleged to have attacked died from blunt force trauma.

1276: Christopher Ballard

Child Endangerment, Child Exploitation, Child Indecency, Child Molestation, Sexual Assault

Christopher J. Ballard was a teacher at Journey Academy, a Christian school in Centennial, Colorado. He was arrested in early March 2024 after the director of the Academy went to police alleging a child was sexually assaulted on May 2nd, that children were forced to watch Child Sexual Abuse Material, and that children were forced to run naked as punishment.
