Rhett Hintze was the COO at Bravo Group, a lobbying and marketing firm. He was also a stake president for several LDS churches in Pennsylvania, including where Shawn Gooden was a church leader. He has been charged with knowing about Gooden’s assaults and not reporting them. His church position makes him a mandatory reporter, obligated to report abuse. The LDS church, after similar cases in other states, has taken the position that church leaders are prohibited from reporting. Their position is that “everything that President Hintze did was fully approved by the church.”

Shawn Gooden was a bishop with the Mormon church and a member of the executive board of the New Birth of Freedom Boy Scouts. He was a lawyer in Harrisburg, PA. He was also an adjunct professor at Widener University Commonwealth Law School. That was all before he pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a young relative in Virginia and was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison.

Micah Whitfield was the technical director of the Arend Arts Center and an employee of Bentonville Schools in Arkansas. He was also on the board of directors of Campfire Ministries local, which has been inactive in recent years. He was arrested for the sexual assault of a high school student.

Gary Joseph Hawkins is a Utah firefighter. He is on administrative leave. He was caught in an undercover child exploitation sting, arrested, and is being held without bail due to his position of trust in the community posing a risk and to his possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material of children he knows.
