Rape Culture

Dennis Prager, as far as anyone knows, has not assaulted anyone, but he spends a lot of time making sexual assault possible and probable. He rushed to the defense of Brett Kavanaugh citing examples of his mother and wife being sexually assaulted and not raising a public stink about it. He seems to think it laudable that two men were allowed to continue sexually assaulting women since the women he cared about stopped the assault. To Prager, holding men accountable for sexual assault “undermines foundational moral principles of any decent society.” Sexual assault doesn’t seem to threaten anything, but accountability threatens society itself.

974: Matt Schlapp

Sexual Battery

Matt Schlapp is the Chair of the American Conservative Union that hosts the CPAC conference. He also chairs the political action committee. In 2022, a staffer on the Herschel Walker campaign accused him of sexual battery by groping him while he drove Schlapp while Schlapp was in Georgia for the campaign.

Josh Duggar is one of the famed Duggar family who had a reality show on The Learning Channel called 19 Kids and Counting. Duggar also worked for the Family Research Council, a sanctimonious anti-gay organization. He molested five girls and his parents knew and covered it up, even though some of those he molested were his sisters. Even though he knew his own son was a molester, Jim Bob Duggar, his father, said “rape and incest represent heinous crimes and as such should be treated as capital crimes.”
