1449: Gregg Hayden

Gregg Hayden is a retired lieutenant at the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina. He was also the School Safety and Security Supervisor for Anderson School District Five. He was appointed to the Anderson County School District One Board in where he served from April to August, 2025, when he resigned after his arrest for criminal sexual conduct with minors. He also resigned from his position at Anderson Five.

1404: David Finkel

Child Exploitation, Child Sexual Abuse Material

David Finkel was the Vice-President of the Shelbyville, Indiana, School Board and a former Republican primary candidate for mayor in 2023. He stepped down from the school board after he was arrested in June 2025 and charged with possession of child sexual abuse material and sexual exploitation of a minor.

1296: Bill Halle

Abuse of Power or Authority, Grooming, Sexual Assault

William “Bill” Halle is a former Butler, Pennsylvania, school board member. He is also a member of the Patriot Party, an extremist party created by Trump supporters who don’t think the Republican Party is sufficiently supportive of Trump. In May, 2023, he resigned after he was accused of an inappropriate relationship with a teen he employed and counseled at the charity he ran Net Outreach Center. He was initially charged with sexual assault by an employee of a non-profit association, corruption of minors, criminal use of a communication facility, and criminal solicitation. He was ordered not to contact the teen, but violated that court order several times, leading to a six month sentence for violations of the order. In January, 2024, a judge dismissed the charges against him

1143: Chris Marsh

Child Molestation, Child Rape, Sexual Abuse, Sexual Assault, Sexual Battery

Christopher Garrett Marsh was the Chair of the Florence County District Five Board of Trustees. In 2021, he was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a victim under age 11, two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a victim 11 to 14, and two counts of third degree sexual conduct with a minor. The victim was first assaulted in 2015 when she was five and the abuse continued until February 2021. The child’s mother was also arrested and charged with neglect because she was knew about the assault in 2015 and did nothing to protect her child after she was assured it was a one-time thing.

1068: Percy Wilbur Rock, Jr.

Child Sexual Abuse Material

Percy Wilbur Rock, Jr. was a candidate in the Republican primary for Greencastle-Antrim School Board in Pennsylvania. He was arrested after the ballots had been printed and software coded so he remained on the ballot. He got 763 votes.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children provided police with an IP address that had been observed uploading Child Sexual Abuse Material. Police tracked it to Rock who told the police he has been viewing CSAM for ten years or more

860: Randy Kaufman

Indecent Exposure

Randy Kaufman was a GOP candidate for the Maricopa County Community College Governing Board. He is also an election-denying Trump supporter. He claimed he was running to make sure “our children are protected [from] the progressive left.” He suspended his campaign after he was arrested while masturbating in a parking lot near a preschool and childcare center however, he remained on the ballot because he did not file a withdrawal. He was cited for sexual indecency. He lost.

759: John Gray

Solicitation of a Minor

John Gray was the president of the Goshen, Ohio, school board when he was caught in a Predator Catchers Muncie sting. He had served five terms on the school board. He showed up in Farmland, Indiana to meet who he thought would be an eleven-year-old girl. He was charged with soliciting a minor.

742: Jeffrey Armstrong

Child Sexual Abuse Material

Jeffrey Armstrong is a former mayor of Rockford, Ohio. He’s also served on the village council and the school board. He was a member of the County Republican Central Committee, as well. On Facebook, he engaged in Direct Message conversations with a person he believed was, like him, interested in sexual relations with underage girls, but the person he thought was a fellow pedophile was actually and FBI agent. The ruse continued for 10 days with exchange of child sexual abuse material. Armstrong declared he knew two girls, ages 5 and 6, whom he was planning to engage in sexual activity. He also bragged about previous sexual activity with minors.
