607: Ben Martin

Ben Martin is an insurrectionist. He also was an anti-mask protester who harried and impeded people going into stores with a mask on. Sprouts Farmers Market in Fresno had to get a restraining order against him.

When federal agents went to arrest him for his participation in the insurrection, they found a safe in his home with several weapons. He is not allowed to have weapons as he was on probation for a 2018 conviction for domestic violence. In addition, he sister has a restraining order against him.

He said they were his father’s but a receipt showed he was the purchaser of at least one of them. Even though he is clearly violating his parole by having weapons, a judge still released him on bail. He also has a conviction for statutory rape.

606: Jorge Riley

Child Abuse

Jorge Riley is an insurrectionist. He was a GOP activist before joining the coup, very active in support of the homophobic Ballot Measure 8. His activism began in college where he was active in student government. He lost an election for president of the student senate by one vote and claimed the election was stolen. So he came by his antipathy to democracy early.

600: Sean McHugh

Child Molestation, Child Rape, Rape

Sean McHugh is an insurrectionist. On January 6th, he had a megaphone which he used to accuse the Capitol Police of protecting pedophiles. This is ironic as he was sentenced to 240 days in jail and four years of probation for the statutory rape of a 14-year-old girl when he was 23. Prosecutors said he had three prior rape offenses.

595: Ryan Samsel

Assault, Familial Abuse & Violence, Menacing, Rape, Sexual Assault

Ryan Samsel is an insurrectionist. He is accused of assaulting several officers during the insurrection and leaving one of them with a concussion. He has a long history of domestic violence and sexual assault. In fact, at the time he was attacking Capitol Police, there was a warrant for his arrest for alleged breaking into a woman’s home to assault her. He was also on parole for his brutal attack on his pregnant girlfriend and witness intimidation.

578: Rickey Williams

Child Sexual Abuse Material

Rickey Williams is an insurrectionist. His daughter is Riley Williams, the woman who stole Rep. Pelosi’s laptop. He was caught in an internet sting. He thought he was communicating with a fourteen-year-old girl, but actually was communicating with a police officer. He wanted his victim to create sexual abuse material and instructed her in what to do.

564: Donovan Ray Crowl

Familial Abuse & Violence

Donovan Ray Crowl is an insurrectionist. He is a member of the Oath Keepers. In 2005, he was arrested for First Degree domestic violence, but was not prosecuted. Charges were dropped, something that often happens in domestic violence cases. CNN did a long profile with video interviews of friends and family and managed to avoid talking about his domestic violence directly.

563: Andrew Ryan Bennett

Assault, Familial Abuse & Violence

Andrew Ryan Bennett is an insurrectionist. On January 6th, he was chanting “break it down” when he entered the Capitol. He also wore a Proud Boys hat. He has a long criminal history full of violence against women. In 2003, he broke down a glass door at a tattoo parlor and attacked a woman and served eighteen months in prison. That same year his mother called the police for help because he had gotten drunk and was menacing her and others. In 2009, he assaulted his sister and his TWO-YEAR-OLD nephew. He poured bleach on the child. A woman whose known him since childhood said in stroke of understatement, “I don’t think he says women as equals.”
