In addition, he has a long history of advocating violence against women. He approves of Eliot Rodger, the mass murderer, for targeting women. Online he harassed women and threatened them with rape.
Aron Peña worked as district director for Rep. Mayra Flores. He was fired when it was revealed he had a long history of sexual harassment complaints. Joel Sartori was Assistant Treasurer for Carl Paladino’s unsuccessful campaigns for governor and for the GOP nomination for Congress. Sartori was convicted in 2017 of both possessing and distributing child sex abuse material. Paladino has known and employed Sartori for years and knows of his conviction. Paladino said Sartori has paid his dues and deserves another chance.
Jonathan Hernandez was the Chair of the Oklahoma College Republicans. He was also a campaign outreach worker for Ryan Walters who ran successfully for State Superintendant. They terminated his employment after two weeks. Shortly before his arrest, he received recognition from the state Republican Party for his work in Latino outreach and even a received a message from the national organization. He was employed by the Senate at the time of his arrest but was terminated.
Austin Cox was Utah Governor Spencer Cox’s (no relation) campaign manager in 2020. In 2021, a woman came forward alleging sexual misconduct on his part. Gov. Cox put him on leave and hired investigators who substantiated her claim. They also found other examples of his misconduct, described as hostil conduct, and he would have been fired, but resigned first. Cox denied the claim and suggested that it was made in spite after a consensual relationship ended.
Anton Lazzaro was a GOP strategist and campaign manager in Minnesota. He founded Big Tent Republicans PAC. He was also an occasional FOX News guest. In 2021, he was indicted on five counts of sex trafficking of a minor, one count of attempting to do so, and three counts of obstruction of justice.
Ruben Verastigui was a digital strategist for the Senate Republican Conference. He also worked as a senior designer for the Republican National Committee. He made Trump MAGA ads. He also was active in the antiabortion movement, working for March for Life, Students for Life, and Live Action. He was arrested for possessing and sharing child exploitation material. He pled guilty and was sentenced to 151 months.
John Weaver is a long-time Republican consultant who was one of the founders of The Lincoln Project, a successful PAC dedicated to fighting Trump. He also sent inappropriate sexual messages to people on social media, promising mentorship and career advantages to men in exchange for sex. He also sent messages to children, grooming them for future relationships. Twenty-one men came forward with allegations that he had sexually harassed them. He resigned.
Ken Kurson is a friend of Jared Kushner, editing Kushner’s New York Observer. He was also a Giuliani confidante and a political consultant. He was nominated to a seat on the board of the National Endowment of the Humanities but withdrew claiming it was too much paperwork. In fact, the initial background check for all nominees uncovered that he was stalking and harassing three people. He was arrested on federal charges of cyber-stalking, installing a keystroke recorder, calling employers to make complaints about them, and more. One of the people he is accused of cyberstalking is his ex-wife.
