He bought up stories with cash and an NDA to protect certain favored people, including Donald Trump. This was exposed in Ronan Farrow’s book “Catch and Kill” and landed Michael Cohen in jail.
Michael Ferro was Chairman of TRONC, the Chicago Tribune publishing company and a big Republican donor. He was forced out after allegations of sexual misconduct were published by Fortune magazine. Two different women recounted seeking an investment in their firms when he made physical advances on them, forcible kissing one and groping another’s breast.
Jamie Horowitz was president of FOX Sports when he was forced to resign due to accusations of sexual harassment.
Gordon Sondland was appointed Envoy to the European Union by Donald Trump. He was a central figure in Trump’s first impeachment trial and testified on Trump’s behalf that there was no quid pro quo. Three women have accused him of sexual harassment and retaliation when they rejected him.

Joseph Maturo was the mayor of East Haven. He was accused by a city employee of sexually harassing her and exposing himself to her. She ended up taking medical leave. Right before the trial began, the City settled for $175,000 and lifetime medical benefits for the employee and her husband.
S. Vance Wilkins was the Republican Speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates. In 2002, he paid $100,000 to settle a sexual harassment suit brought by a woman who said he made unwelcome sexual advances to her. She claimed he groped her and pinned her against a desk. She worked for the construction company where Wilkins had his offices. He used to own the company but kept his office there after he sold it.
R. A. Strickland or Andy Strickland was the Republican sheriff of Colleton County, South Carolina, was charged with domestic violence after punching a family member in the face several times. A year later, he was charged with more than a dozen offenses including official misconduct, using his position for financial gain and sex, use of public fund to influence an election, distribution of drugs, and embezzlement.
Greg May is a Republican businessman who appeared in an add supporting Gov. Mike Bevin. The ad came from the Republican Governors Association who took it down when local news asked about including a man who had been accused of sexual harassment and retalian. Scott Robert Jones is the sheriff of Sacramento County. He is retiring in January, 2023. He is the sheriff behind the Netflix series “Jailbirds” and exploitative reality show featuring women prisoners in the Sacramento County jail. He has made two unsuccessful runs as a Republican for Congress, in 2016 and 2022. In 2022, he didn’t make it past the primary.
