Dave Yost is the Attorney General of Ohio. After news reports of a 10-year-old having to travel out of Ohio to get an abortion after she was made pregnant by rape, he took it upon himself to deny that it ever happened. I wonder if the man arrested for raping her claim in his defense that the Attorney General said he does not exist. Yost made no apologies for calling her rape a hoax.
Additionally, he has been extraordinarily lenient on some sex offenders. For example, Joseph T. Bergman, who raped an intellectually disabled woman got probation.
