Tony Yocham was the Chief of Police for Hamilton, Texas. He also ran for Sheriff of Somervell County but lost the Republican primary. That was a good thing for Somevell County as he was arrested for sexually abusing a child since she was 8 years old until 2020 when she was 15.
A man saw the Sheriff’s messages to the teen on Instagram. They seemed inappropriate. The man went to the Sheriff’s Office and reported the allegation. The Rangers investigated further and arrested the Sheriff.
